What you’ll be doing:
Work in the core game development, creating game modes and logic both for server and client.
Collaborate with other developers to create and refine game features.
Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
Improve and develop the existing technology stack.
Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth gameplay.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate into game development.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Software engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating engaging and high-performance games. As a Software engineer at Holyday Studios, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our games, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Proven experience as a Software engineer or in a similar role.
Work as a backend developer or in a related specialty for at least 3 years.
An understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Experience with relational databases(e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A passion for gaming.
Good knowledge of English language.
What would be even better:
Experience with Unity game engine.
Experience with SDK implementation.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
